Hi! I’m Puqiu (Kevin) Zhao, an incoming PhD student (2025.10) in Political Economy Research at King’s College London, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) through the London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership  (LISS DTP). 

I have an MA in International Relations (China Foreign Affairs University, 2025), an MSc in Economics and International Relations (University of East Anglia, 2024), and a BSc in Public Administration (Beijing University of International Relations, 2022). I’ve worked as a research assistant at both the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research and the School of Economics, UEA.
